Nepean Point Engagement Shoot | Hayley + Owen

Hayley and Owen first met at the Heart and Crown in Ottawa 6 years ago where they danced the night away, and 2018 was the year that marked Owen’s planned proposal in downtown Toronto.  They travelled to Toronto for the weekend to watch the Blue Jays for Hayley’s birthday. They popped a bottle of champagne in their hotel room and decided the game plan for the day. They’d first stop at Nathan Phillips Square, then Bang Bang Ice Cream and end off at the Harbour for lunch.  But because of heavy Toronto traffic, they were delayed and didn’t make it for ice cream. Instead, they ditched their uber and headed directly to the waterfront to find something to eat. They were both tired and hungry, but Owen kept shooting down restaurants that Hayley was pointing to for lunch.  She then told him to pick a place because she was getting grumpy for food! Owen pointed her to a bench right in the middle of the harbour. That’s where he sat her down and proposed!

These two are getting married at Le Belvedere this weekend! This wedding is extra special to us because we had shot Hayley’s sister’s all white Brockville wedding a few years back.  So, I’m stoked to have been asked to come back to shoot Hayley and Owen’s wedding too!

Here are a few of my favourites from their warm fall engagement shoot.
